What’s the purpose of GoVo?

The purpose of GoVo is to help volunteers find causes they care about, and to help charities find the volunteers they need.

It does this by:

• Acting as a matching service between volunteers and charities.

• Offering an “onboard once” process so volunteers can register once and apply to multiple roles without repeating checks.

• Reducing the administrative burden on charities and making it faster to recruit volunteers.

Ultimately, GoVo aims to enable more people to give their time in ways that fit their lives — and to help charities deliver vital work in communities across the England, Scotland and Wales.
