What if I don’t have a passport or driving licence?

Other ways you can complete your Yoti ID check.

 

At launch, all volunteers will need to complete an ID check through Yoti to use GoVo. While a passport or UK driving licence are the most common documents, they’re not the only ones you can use.

 

Yoti also accepts:

 

  • Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) – issued by the UK Home Office

  • Citizencard – UK government-recognised proof-of-age card

  • Young Scot National Entitlement Card – for volunteers in Scotland

 

 

As long as you have one of the supported documents, you’ll be able to complete your verification and start volunteering.

 

 

💡 Tip: If you don’t currently hold one of these documents, you may want to apply for a Citizencard or Young Scot card as an accessible alternative.
