What Are Corporate Team Days on GoVo?

Corporate Team Days are coming soon. They are a great way for charities to engage groups of employees in meaningful, short-term volunteering activities. This article explains what they are and how they work on GoVo.

What is a Corporate Team Day?

A Corporate Team Day is a group volunteering activity where employees from a company volunteer together on a specific day.

Instead of volunteering individually, a team from the same organisation works together on a project that supports your charity or local community.

These days are often part of a company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, with many employees given 1–5 volunteering days per year.

Typical Team Day format:

  • Team size: 5–30 volunteers
  • Duration:
    • Half day (2–4 hours)
    • Full day (5–6 hours)

What is the GoVo Team Days Feature?

The Team Days feature on GoVo allows charities to promote group volunteering opportunities to businesses actively looking to engage their teams.

This helps you:

  • Reach new corporate partners
  • Attract committed volunteer groups
  • Deliver impactful, well-supported volunteering experiences

How It Works

1. Upload your opportunity
Create and publish your Team Day via your GoVo dashboard using the Team Days feature.

2. Connect with organisations
Businesses can browse opportunities and send requests to take part.

3. Deliver impact
Host volunteer teams, support your cause, and build ongoing relationships with organisations.
