Managing Your Profile and Information

Update your personal details and learn what charities can see.

Your GoVo profile is how charities get to know you. A clear, up-to-date profile makes it easier for them to understand your skills, interests, and availability — and helps you get matched with the right opportunities.

 


 

What you can update in GoVo

 

From your dashboard, you can edit these details at any time:

 

  • Contact details – email, phone number, and address

  • Skills & interests – highlight what you enjoy and where you’d like to make a difference

  • Accessibility adjustments – share any support that would help you volunteer comfortably

  • Profile picture (optional) – add a friendly photo to personalise your applications

  • Password & sign-in details – update your password or reset it if forgotten

 

 


 

What’s managed through Yoti

 

Some information is linked to your ID verification and can’t be changed directly in GoVo:

 

  • Legal name

  • Date of birth

 

If either of these need to be updated, you’ll need to make the change through your Yoti account.

 


 

What charities see

 

  • Charities only see the details that are relevant to your application.

  • Sensitive data (like diversity information) is never shared with organisations — it’s only used by GoVo to ensure the platform is inclusive and representative.
