Managing Volunteer Applications in GoVo
GoVo gives you two ways to receive and manage volunteer applications - via your GoVo URL or by email. Here’s how each works 👇
Applications via URL
- You can review and respond to volunteer applications directly in your GoVo Applications Dashboard.
- When you accept or reject an application, GoVo automatically emails the volunteer to confirm whether you’ll be in touch to progress their application.
- At the request of our charity partners, you won’t receive email notifications for applications made via your GoVo URL.
- In a future update, you’ll be able to turn off the accept/reject step and manage volunteers entirely through your own internal process.
Applications via Email
- If a volunteer applies by email, you’ll receive an email notification letting you know there’s a new application to review.
- You’ll then need to accept or reject the application in your GoVo Dashboard.
- Once you do, GoVo will automatically email the volunteer confirming whether you’ll be in touch to progress their application.
