How can my organisation get involved in the Force of Nature campaign?

Royal Voluntary Service is working with ITV to inspire more people to volunteer for animal conservation and climate resilience through the Force of Nature campaign.

ITV’s Force of Nature series will end with a call to volunteer, directing viewers to GoVo. This means people inspired by the series will be able to browse relevant volunteering opportunities on GoVo.

How do I get involved?

To help your opportunities appear in the right place on GoVo, please make sure they are listed under the Environment and Conservation category.

You can do this by setting Environment and Conservation as either your:

  • Main charity category, or
  • Secondary charity category

You should also review your current opportunities and make sure they are up to date.

What should I check?

Before the campaign launches, we recommend that you:

  • Review and update your existing opportunities
  • Upload any new conservation, animal welfare, nature or climate resilience opportunities
  • Add your own images to help your opportunities stand out
  • Check your opportunity descriptions are clear and engaging

What type of opportunities should I add?

You may want to add opportunities linked to:

  • Animal conservation
  • Environmental projects
  • Climate resilience
  • Nature recovery
  • Outdoor volunteering
  • Community growing or gardening
  • Wildlife support
  • Conservation events or activities
